Biography
A passionate educator, distinguished Qur’an reciter, and respected community leader, deeply committed to nurturing spiritual growth, advancing education, and cultivating leadership within the Muslim community. His journey with SALAM began as a young student when he served as a teacher at the SALAM Weekend School, laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to service. Today, he is a vital member of SALAM’s Board of Trustees, a regular khateeb delivering insightful Friday sermons, and a dynamic leader of the SALAM Youth Group, inspiring the next generation of Muslim leaders.
Dr. Sayedi’s commitment to community extends beyond SALAM, as he is also a cornerstone of the Muhajer Foundation, where he plays a pivotal role in serving youth and families in the West Sacramento area. His unwavering dedication to faith and service continues to uplift and empower those around him. He is currently completing his Master’s degree in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University and has pursued in-depth studies in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Islamic Theology (Tawheed), Quranic Sciences (Uloom al-Qur’an), Prophetic Traditions (Hadith), Islamic History (Tarikh), and Islamic Ethics (Akhlaq)—a rich foundation that informs his work as a teacher, mentor, and community leader.
