About Course

Sundays | 11 am to 1 pm
Starting September 21st

This course explores the art and jurisprudence of Dhikr (remembrance) and Du’a (supplication). Drawing from classical sources such as Sayyid Sabiq’s Fiqh al‑Sunnah, students will learn the linguistic and legal definitions of dhikr and du’a, their distinctions and interrelationship, and the virtues of remembering Allah in all circumstances. Each session introduces comprehensive etiquette, benefits, and recommended practices for specific contexts — including daily morning and evening adhkar, supplications for sleep and waking, adhkar for special occasions such as entering or leaving the house, and remembrances during natural phenomena or times of hardship. We will also cover the rulings and etiquettes of supplication, the importance of sending blessings upon the Prophet  and prophetic supplications, and conclude with guidance on adhkar and du’a for travel. By the end of the course, students will cultivate a deeper connection with Allah through meaningful remembrance and supplication, enhancing their spiritual life and daily practice.
